Laura Craska Cooper elected Vice-Chair of COCC Board of Directors
Laura Craska Cooper, a Partner at Brix Law LLP, has been elected vice-chair of the Central Oregon Community College (“COCC”) Board of Directors for the 2018-19 year. The COCC Board consists of seven members, each of whom is elected from geographic zones in the 10,000-square-mile district. Ms. Craska Cooper was appointed to the Board in September 2012, and was subsequently elected to the position twice. She served as vice-chair of the board in 2013-14 and then chair of the board in 2014-15. She chaired the search committee that hired the current President of COCC, Dr. Shirley Metcalf.
