Laura Craska Cooper, a Partner at Brix Law LLP, has been elected vice-chair of the Central Oregon Community College (“COCC”) Board of Directors for the 2018-19 year. The COCC Board consists of seven members, each of whom is elected from geographic zones in the 10,000-square-mile district. Ms. Craska Cooper was appointed to the Board in September 2012, and was subsequently elected to the position twice. She served as vice-chair of the board in 2013-14 and then chair of the board in 2014-15. She chaired the search committee that hired the current President of COCC, Dr. Shirley Metcalf.

Kyle D. Wuepper, a Partner at Brix Law LLP, has been reelected as a member of the Board of Directors and Secretary of Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation, Inc. (MBSEF). Mr. Wuepper has served on the MBSEF Board of Directors since 2010. MBSEF is a nonprofit organization in Bend, Oregon that creates opportunities through competitive snow sports programs to support athletes in achieving their individual athletic, academic, and personal goals.
